  • If you do not hear from a manager within 3 days of the Managers Meeting please contact your age group coordinator.

Player Age Rules

The cut-off date for SKSA is aligned with the Nations sanctioning rules for player age groups. The cut-off date is specific to the season being played in order to maintain age group continuity. The baseball year currently starts on August 1st.

  • Spring/Summer League Programs - April 30th in the calendar year of the season
  • Fall League Program - April 30th in the following calendar year

Players can play up an age group, but never down. There are no exceptions to this rule.

The registration system will automatically show you which sessions your child is eligible for.

Metro League - Registration

Metro baseball is focused on recreational play. It progresses from t-ball for the 5U division, to coach pitch for 6-8U, and then kid pitch from 9U onwards. Each age group plays in their own division, with exception of 12U and 14U divisions which are combined with 11/12 and 13/14 old players respectively. The Metro Fall League is considered an instructional program which is focused on player development.

  • 10 game regular season
  • Supplied uniform includes shirt and hat (players will provide own pants, socks, and belt)
  • Registration fees are as follows:
    • 5-6U $135
    • 7-8U $150
    • 9-14U $165
    • A team sponsorship of $150 is also required for each team as a whole. Sponsorship money is due at uniform pickup.

Seniors - Registration

The Spring-Klein Seniors Baseball program accommodates high school age group players who are interested in advancing their baseball skills and those who have the goal of playing for their high school team. There is a single division for all age groups. Seniors Fall League provides registration for individual players as well as full rosters. Full rosters are registered by managers via Nations Baseball. The league will have pre-formed and league built teams.

  • 10 game regular season
  • Supplied uniform includes shirt and hat (players will provide own pants, socks, and belt)
  • Registration fees are as follows:
    • Total registration fee is $180

SuperStars Registration

The Spring-Klein SuperStars Baseball Program is for our baseball players ages 5-18 with special physical, emotional, or mental challenges. SuperStars play generally once a week and are teamed up with a 'Buddy Team' from the SKSA leagues. There is no registration cost for this special program. Get more information on SuperStars HERE.
